For over seven years, I've been working all over the country bringing ideas to life with innovative design and visual production. As Founder & Director of Manny Reel Films, we've crafted visual resources that guarantee audience engagement for clients as varied as Grammy and Oscar award-winning hip-hop artist Common and international labor rights organization Voices of the Food Chain, amongst others. Manny Reel Films has become a go-to partner for over 25 businesses, corporations, non-profit organizations and artists seeking improvement with branding, creative direction, visual identity, and photo and video production. Recently I co-directed and edited "The Revenge of Emmett Till", a short documentary that recounts the story of the 14-year-old African American boy from the South Side of Chicago who was brutally murdered in the summer of 1955 in Mississippi. Rapper and artist Lupe Fiasco as well as Chicago painter and sculptor Hebru Brantley are subjects of the film and provide a cultural and critical perspective on the topic of justice and revenge.
