Emmanuel Echa has over a decade experience in the Information Technology service industry. He is an Agile Expert, coaching individuals and teams for one of the biggest Pharma Company in the world. He is trained in implementing Agile: SCRUM & Design Thinking, Digital Transformation, Data, Social Entrepreneurship, Human Centered Design/Prototyping. He holds a Mini MBA, a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science. He is a Certified Blockchain Expert with the Blockchain Council and has strong understanding of Blockchain/DLTs concepts, including a deep understanding of the underlying technology's architecture and an ability to define future state architectures and use cases. This experiences has given him consultancy opportunities with MarketsandMarkets™ one of the world's largest revenue impact company, serving over customers including 80% of the top companies. He contributed as a Business Analyst to the vision 2018 to 2023 Blockchain Market trends in Blockchain Technology in Government markets, Blockchain Identity Management, Blockchain in Healthcare and Blockchain in Manufacturing Market. In being the CTO for Songhai Labs, his motivation and passion for Business Innovation guided him and the organization to identify best practices and opportunities in implementing technology use cases to broaden Africa's economy through entrepreneurship. With this, he has built connections with IBM and Google to further the campaign for an African continent driven by technology. He had collaboration with Google to implement strategies to bring Google Digital Skills training to over 2 million Africans. In 2020, he was chosen as an Afrika Kommt Fellow, a prestigious leadership programme in Germany that is an Initiative of German Industry for Future Leaders from Africa. He is a UN Volunteer, a public speaker, a mentor for the Tony Elumelu Foundation and a resource person for the Tekedia Mini-MBA located in Boston USA. He is strongly motivated to give back to the society as it is evident in his volunteering work with the UN Volunteers and SaveTheWaters.
