About Emmanuel Johnson

I am an Environmental Specialist with experience in environmental remediation and quality control of active chemical substances in soil, groundwater and surface waters. I am an Environmental Engineer with profound academic background and practical experience in water treatment, water quality analysis, laboratory study concerning the environmental fate of active pollutants with an extensive knowledge of analytical and biofiltration techniques. While my research interest is to help achieve environmental sustainability challenges using green low-cost technology interventions in developing countries such as the use of biochar in water/wastewater treatment, my vision is to enhance the research in academia and engineering and managerial knowledge in businesses and governmental organisations to develop new methods for sustainable recovery of resources from wastes, climate change adaptation and mitigation, and delivery of the global net zero-carbon future.
