About Emmanuel Jose

As a digital marketing and communications professional, I have a passion for storytelling and creating engaging online content. I hold a BA in Journalism from Saint Mary's University (PH), where I gained a strong background in media communications, public relations, corporate events planning, and graphic design. I currently work as a Digital Marketing Officer at Cayman Islands Health Services Authority (HSA), the country's principal healthcare facility. In this role, I craft and execute effective digital marketing strategies to boost our brand's online presence and engagement. This entails overseeing social media channels, optimizing website content, and conducting email campaigns. I also analyze digital performance metrics to guide my marketing decisions and stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. Additionally, I collaborate closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies, maintain brand consistency, ensure legal compliance, and foster positive media relationships. In addition to my work at HSA, I am the founder and storyteller of People of Cayman, a photoblog that showcases the people and their stories living in the Cayman Islands, since Jun 2019. Through this project, I aim to capture and share the diversity and beauty of the Caymanian culture and community. I use my skills in photography, writing, and social media marketing to create and distribute compelling and authentic content that resonates with the audience. I am driven by curiosity, creativity, and a desire to make a positive impact through my work. I enjoy collaborating with others, learning new skills, and exploring new opportunities. I am always looking for ways to improve myself and my work, and to deliver value to my organization and the community.
