As a Project Engineer at Core Controls Ltd, I specialize in process automation, SCADA systems, and PLCs, leading projects that drive operational efficiency and innovation. My expertise includes using advanced tools such as FactoryTalk View, EcoStruxure, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks to design solutions for industrial systems. Over the years, I’ve successfully completed several commissioning and SAT jobs across the UK, primarily on BESS/PV and HV/LV power projects. These roles required managing timelines, resources, and teams to meet outcomes. I’ve worked with Allen Bradley and Schneider PLCs, implementing Iconics SCADA for all projects. My work involved integrating HV RMUs and HV/LV switchboards, using communication protocols such as Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU/Serial, IEC 61850, DNP3, SNMP, and TCP/IP, utilizing Wireshark for network analysis. I’ve also overseen full enclosure design and documentation, following through with FAT, commissioning, and SAT. In addition to engineering, I manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including VPCs, EC2 instances, and S3 storage. I streamline operations using Terraform and CloudFormation, and my AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification enhances my cloud expertise. I manage both technical and project management aspects with precision, ensuring that solutions align with business goals and client needs.
