About Emmanuel Reitz

Emmanuel has developed extensive experience in the field of automation (SCADA, RTU…) including various low voltage systems such as CCTV, access control, radio, communication networks, etc… After starting his career in automation in the French automobile industry, Emmanuel opted for an international career that would enable him to expand his experience to electrical networks globally. After successfully completing several projects (SCADA system, HV/MV substations automation, MV/LV transformer stations automation, etc…), Emmanuel showcased his multi-disciplinary skills in managing several low voltage systems projects (CCTV, access control, radio.) In order to apply and expand his range of skills in a more diverse field, in 2010 Emmanuel joined the Macau Light Rail railway project as the Extra Low Voltage specialist and managed several systems designs (SCADA system, passenger information system, TETRA radio system, CCTV system, telecommunication networks, etc…) as well as their interfaces with other systems, rolling stock, signalling and civil works. His work involved managing the verification and validation of the design process compliant to international and local standards. Due to the safety requirements necessary for safe railway operation, the work also involved an extensive reliance on safety assurance and is therefore also familiar with CENELEC Railway Standards and American Fire safety codes. After fulfilling the necessary professional bodies’ requirements, Emmanuel was accepted as a full member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET) and thus obtained Chartered Engineer (CEng) status. This was followed by his integration to the Jerusalem Light Rail railway project team as Systems Manager to assist and support the Jerusalem Transportation Master Plan Team in the implementation of the project. In 2021, Emmanuel joined the bid department as Technical and Commercial Coordinator where he is coaching bid engineers and intervenes on « must win » bids as technical advisor. After 20 years of continuous employment, and now holding over 15 years of international exposure, Emmanuel has acquired complimentary levels of experience during various industrial projects. His know-how combined with his familiarity with working in different cultural environments would be beneficial to any project and would allow him to easily adapt to new situations and blend in within teams.
