About Emmanuel Sonubi

The strong desire to transform lives and add value to every system with which I find myself has been a major drive for me as I advanced in my career. I always ensure quality and value for every assigned task and these had gradually transformed into core values that had strengthened my personality. Due to an increase in risk exposure, which is related to the high level of demand and lack of technical competence in the work system, safety and quality became a goal. I am a young graduate with honors in food technology from the University of Ibadan who just completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and is currently engaged in personal research targeted at ensuring that food safety hazards are controlled inside a food business. The goal of the study is to identify food risks and build a system to eliminate or properly control them using the hazard analysis critical control point (HACCP) approach. My first internship in the food industry provided me with a better understanding of what I now refer to as passion. This was at the Cway group of companies, where I worked as a quality control personnel inspecting raw materials and ensuring that products met the defined acceptance requirements before being issued for sale. Other internships exposed me to areas such as food packaging, package manufacturing, non-alcoholic beverage production, food production machinery, quantitative and qualitative analysis, warehouse management, product documentation, research and development, and modeling, to name a few. I held leadership positions at the institution where I organized and anchored various programs outside of my profession. In a bid to influence lives and ensure the effective running of my CDS group, I took up the position of the general secretary where I initiated several projects and sensitized people in the community on a better way to live a life free of corruption. During my service year, I also worked as the state technical director for the Nigerian Christian Corper Fellowship (NCCF) Osun State Chapter, where I developed technical skills in sound production and media transmission haven set up a variety of programs.
