About Emmanuel Vanger

Dr Emmanuel Terngu Vanger holds Fellowship of Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in the UK, and he is a certified Advance HE External Examiner in the UK. He holds a BSc Degree in Political Science, MSc, and PhD Degrees in Development Studies with over 14years of cognate professional and academic experience in teaching, research, and practice. He has great competence in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), Logistic services, Systems thinking,(In)Security, Climate-related Human (Im)mobility, Humanitarian Emergency Crisis Response and Management, Livelihood studies, Peacebuilding, Relief Funding, Consultancy projects, and Sustainability. He can engage in multi-disciplinary applied research and consultancy, prepare technical summary and analytical briefing notes and reports on project, operations, policy, and sundry issues. Before joining the University of Northampton where he currently works as a Senior Lecturer in Project Management in the Department of Business Systems and Operations in the Faculty of Business and Law, he was a member of Faculty in the Department of Business Administration at the Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University (formerly, Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi-Nigeria). He works in Project Management,(In)Security, Climate-related Human (Im)mobility, Humanitarian Emergency Crisis Response and Management, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), Logistic Services, Consultancy Projects, Relief Funding, Waste Management, Public Policy, and Sustainability. His recent interest is on the intersection of institutional regimes and political patronage in the resettlement processes of forcibly displaced persons in Africa and the nexus of relief fund interventions and research agenda priorities in Africa.
