Composer, programmer, and researcher working between sound, astrobiology, and software. My music practice engages sound, composition, software/hardware and biosystems to explore modes of human and other-than-human interaction. Recent compositions include "Bona Dea", a vocal cyborg comprising 12 singers networked by live pulse data and haptic feedback; and "Works for Strings and Datura Innoxia in Lunar Regolith Simulant", a set of string pieces catalyzing the germination of California-native flowers in synthetic lunar rocks. Director of Project Viriditas, MIT-based research group studying the effect of ionizing radiation on the growth of Ganoderma lucidum mycelium in Martian regolith simulant for use as an off-planet construction material. Quant Analytics engineer at FactSet since mid 2022. Initiated and oversee programmatic geospatial analytics initiative; built portfolio optimization/simulation application for end-to-end quant equity workflow. I am passionate about technologies (mechanical, digital, biological, auditory, imaginary) enabling the human habitation of outer space.
