Hi, I am ecstatic you are checking out my LinkedIn profile! To start off with the basics, I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at San Jose State University expected to graduate in May 2023. I have many years of managing experience from work, and I'm great at working with other people and very friendly. I am well adapted to handling a variety of situations and tasks. My dad is self employed and has been in the gas station business for 20 years now. I've been going to work with him since I was 4 years old. Fast forward to the present we have 3 gas stations and we are franchisees of a Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen. Over the years I have learned the ins and outs of running a business and what it takes to be a successful business owner. It's not very easy, but I have gained a lot of valuable experience I cannot get from many other places. Some of my responsibilities include inventory count, balancing day to day spread sheets on Microsoft Excel, balancing network revenue on QuickBooks, scheduling food/ supply orders, investigating missing revenue, ordering fuel deliveries. The list goes on. On the side, I have a few hobbies I enjoy on my free time. Growing up I liked playing with RC cars. I would upgrade parts and tinker with them trying to get the best performance out of them. Now I do the same thing but with cars. I do almost all of the maintenance on my vehicles as well as some custom modification to try and improve the performance. As a result I feel that I am more mechanically inclined than the average person and I am not afraid to jump in and get my hands dirty. More recently I have started building/ upgrading computers, and with that comes its own challenges. Sometimes it goes smoothly, but most of the time it doesn't. I often have problems with software compatibility or faulty hardware. I started playing around with command prompts and other programs to try and work around these issues. I am not a professional but I am able to troubleshoot most problems I encounter with some research, and I am pretty comfortable working with computers. If you made it this far, thank you for reading!
