About Emory Widlowski

As the Director of Events at Ames Chamber of Commerce, I plan and execute 100+ events annually, utilizing live and virtual programs, with group sizes ranging from 20 to 700+. I work with cross-matrix teams, vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure the events are successful and aligned with the Chamber's mission and vision.I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Event Management in December 2021, where I gained core competencies in attention to detail, management, and project management. I also have relevant experience as an Events Intern at Center Grove Orchard, where I sold 80% of clients to host their events and created a catering and inventory spreadsheet that is still used for events. I am passionate about creating memorable and engaging experiences for the community and the clients.
