A highly motivated and experienced Engineer and Project Manager with 17 years’ experience in the pharmaceuticals industry. Initially 8+ years based permanently at Astellas Pharma working on a broad spectrum of process and utility projects. Final position held was- Senior Project Engineer - responsible for the compilation, planning and compilation of the annual Engineering CapEx projects portfolio. Now employed by Guerbet Pharmaceuticals (formally Mallinckrodt) as Maintenance Supervisor- leading our dept. and consistently delivering service and innovative solutions to a very high level of satisfaction. Thriving in this role as leader of a highly motivated and always learning/adapting team. All solutions delivered in full compliance with site/industry regulations in a highly demanding, ever evolving and ageing 24/7 API facility. Recommenced post graduate studies this January with a NIBRT/UCD level 9 qualification in Biopharmaceutical Production. Feeling invigorated and that this is an ideal stage of career to have resumed studies. Intend to accept option to extend studies to obtain Masters in Biopharmaceutical Engineering. Thrive on delivery of efficient, effective and innovative solutions with a very strong focus on high quality documentation and cGMP/EHS compliance.
