About Engineers Without Borders Uj
EWB-UJ is the student chapter of EWB-SA at the University of Johannesburg. It serves to facilitate the collaboration of EWB, the University, students, other development organisations and communities to improve the quality of life of these communities using engineering knowledge and design thinking to implement successful and sustainable engineering project. EWB-UJ also serves to promote engineering excellence among UJ students. EWB-UJ is the new student chapter of EWB-SA at the University of Johannesburg, which started in January 2014. It serves to facilitate the collaboration of EWB, the University, students, other development organisations and communities to improve the quality of life of these communities using engineering knowledge and design thinking to implement successful and sustainable engineering project. EWB-UJ vision will be accomplish through several projects in different sectors of the engineering and social field of our community while building corporate relationships, enhancing academic development of students as well as of learners in disadvantaged schools in the year 2015.
