About Eni Mihilli

Hello, and good to e-meet you! My name is Eni ("any") Mihilli ("me-he-lly"). I am a New York city-based lawyer and counselor (Michigan Law '21). I became a lawyer because I wanted to help people. I thought, if I could understand the law and explain it to my friends and family, they could make better-informed decisions. Now, as an attorney, I do the same with my clients. My favorite part of practicing law is helping someone solve their problem and achieve their goal. To do that, I follow a simple process: 1) understand the client's problem(s) and goal(s), 2) provide a summary of well-researched options for achieving the goal(s)(if possible - if not, best alternatives), 3) clearly explain the pros and cons of the options, and 4) recommend an option based on the client's stated goals. My approach is client-focused, as one "solution" may be great for one client, but terrible for another. I have represented clients (individuals and companies) in a wide variety of industries in civil court. Though my practice consists primarily of business and contract disputes, I also work on workplace discrimination cases, wage and hour disputes, and professional malpractice actions (attorney malpractice and accountant malpractice).
