About Enoch Chan

Director, Photographer, Cinematographer, Lighting Designer Born in Hong Kong and Enoch has spent much of his artistic life trying to blend Eastern and Western aesthetics. He is the the Director and Co-Artistic Director of DEVIATEDTHEATRE a dance theatre company which creates original “dance operas” for stage and film. An award winning and published photographer, he has a passion for bringing movement and dynamism into his photo work. Lately he has been working to help women of all shapes sizes find their own voice and strength of self with his company Brazen Spirit Boudoir. His cinematography work includes work for CBS’s Great Escapes, PBS’s PBS Newshour, WETA’s Check Please, WETA Arts and Signature Dish. He often quips that his success as a photography and cinematographer is a result of his knowledge of lighting. He designs and gaffs for both stage, film and tv. These lighting credits include work at the Kennedy Center, the Harman Center, Atlas and designs of the studios at WETA, Pentagon and the US State Department as well as being a regular consultant and designer for Barbizon Lighting. He hopes to bring these talents to even more film and episodic work in the coming future.
