About Enrico Stahn

I am a curious and driven software and distributed systems engineer with over 20 years of experience leading teams of various sizes. One of my most significant professional accomplishments was leading the transformation from traditional infrastructure to a containerised Kubernetes environment in 2016, resulting in faster product delivery, cost reduction, the implementation of automated delivery pipelines, and improvements in availability, resiliency, and security. In my spare time, I manage and develop an open-source project called k8s-image-swapper, which has been widely adopted by the Kubernetes community and has over 350 stars on GitHub. I am passionate about working on meaningful products that make an impact on people's lives. My career has exposed me to a range of companies, from small startups to corporate giants, across a variety of industries including ISPs, government subcontractors, construction, and eCommerce. My technical skills include software and system architecture design, various programming languages such as Golang, Python, PHP, and Java, as well as physical networks, cyber security, and IT Operations. I am always seeking new challenges and opportunities to innovate and make a positive impact. Outside of work, I have a passion for rock climbing, which has helped me develop skills such as risk management, planning, and strategic thinking.
