I’m a Quantitative Developer and Data Scientist working in capital markets within the Financial Services sector, with a background that bridges astrophysics research, machine learning, and quantitative finance. I have experience in equity derivatives and synthetic variance indices (Python), as well as large-scale fixed-income pricing infrastructure (C++). Before moving into finance, I spent over a decade as an astrophysics research scientist, leading international collaborations across Europe and producing 40+ publications and 50+ conference presentations. My work combined data science, numerical modelling, and software engineering to deliver high-impact scientific results. I’m an enthusiastic learner and mentor, passionate about building robust data-driven systems, developing innovative ML solutions, and crafting clear, insightful data visualisations.
