Passed all written exams on the first attempt. Details of IFoA studies below:'Finance Specialist Application'(SA5); passed April 2016. An advanced study of corporate finance.'Derivatives & Hedging Specialist Technical'(ST6); passed October 2015. First principles study of the mechanics of derivative pricing. Built a deep understanding of the stochastic asset & interest rate models at the heart of derivative valuation and risk management/hedging. Derivative pricing extends to the valuation of any complex payoff structure. The syllabus is built off Baxter & Rennie (Financial Calculus) and the more advanced topics in Hull (OFOD).'Finance & Investments Specialist Technical'(ST5); passed April 2015. Gained a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of institutional investment and asset University College Dublin Awarded 4 year university scholarship (academic). Graduated from Actuarial and Financial Studies (BAFS) programme in 2014 with first-class honours (grades are in Education section). Achieved all IFoA exemptions during my studies: CT 1-8 and CA1. Outside of work and study, I play gaelic football and hurling for Kilmacud Crokes in Stillorgan.
