About Eoin Devlin

As an engineer I love to problem solve, invent, and work on products that truly bring value to society. Currently, I am a System Engineer at Cerner Ireland. My responsibilities include providing system implementation, monitoring, maintenance and support of the Health Information Exchange (HIE) platform. In 2018 I completed a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering specialising in Digital Health and Medical Technologies from Dublin City University. In 2017 I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering (Upper Second Class (2.1) Honours) from Maynooth University. Throughout my studies I gained knowledge in areas such as Biomedical Instrumentation, Computer Vision, Control Systems, Embedded Systems, Internet of Things (IoT), Communication Protocols, Electronics, Networks (TCP/IP) and Programming with proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, Javascript, C, C++, Matlab, Verilog, and SQL. Previously, I worked as a Teaching Assistant for several undergraduate electronic engineering modules in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Maynooth University. I also interned at HP Inc. as a Product Development Engineer in 2016 and studied abroad at New Mexico State University in 2015.
