About Eoin King

Experienced finance professional with 8 years post ACA qualification experience I graduated with first class honors in Accounting and Finance from DIT in 2008. In 2012, I completed the Chartered Accountants FAE examinations and am proud to say I achieved Decile 1 for 2012 (top 10% in Ireland for that year) I worked in the assurance department of Mazars Ireland performing audits with a multitude of clients ranging from SME to Irish listed companies. During that time, I led a number of audit assignments gaining specific experience in project management and team leadership. I moved to Oracle as Senior Financial Accountant, managing year end audits and preparing financial statements. I progressed to Senior Assistant Financial Controller monitoring two accountants and leading them through the Oracle accounting processes. I also undertook a lead role in the EMEA commission’s team coordinating the global accounting procedures to the Dublin office. Often, I was referred, as having composure under pressure especially during month-end and quarter end deadlines. Outside work, I recently completed a public speaking course with Fiona O’Meara (award winning Toastmaster). I enjoy regularly competing 5k road races and enjoy reading behavioral economics with my favourite book being “Freakonomics” by Stephen J. Dubner and Steven Levitt.
