About Eoin Murphy

I am currently an Internal Auditor in Primark. I help deliver audits in the areas of business processes, financial reporting and technology. Previous to this, I was a Manager in KPMG's CHEC Audit practice where I had a broad exposure to a wide range of clients from US and Irish PLCs right down to smaller SMEs and owner-managed businesses. I also had the opportunity to complete secondments in the Risk Consulting and IT Audit practices, as well as sit on the AI Committee. Before this I was a student of mathematics and physics at both undergraduate and graduate levels, where I focused primarily on Einstein's Theory of General Relativity and its application to black holes. I am still greatly interested in maths and science in general, and teach grinds in maths, applied maths, physics, computer science and accounting for all levels right up to Third Level. I love being able to make a difference to young students, and help them achieve the grades they deserve. Outside of work, I have a very strong interest in aviation and I plan on getting a pilot licence in the near future. I already hold a Class 1 medical and have completed the groundschool classes for my private pilot's licence (PPL), as well as having some experience in the air.
