About Equilla Beasley

Hello, My name is Equilla Beasley. I'm a recent college graduate with a degree in computer science. During my education, I gained experience with Java, C/C++, Python, Flutter, and HTML. One of my biggest successes while still in college was that I worked on a website that was used in a national covention for the purpose of guiding convention goers to different events on the convention grounds. I have work experience as a Co-Instructor, in which I educated underprivleged students on computer science principles such as variables, loops, and design. At the end of the program, each student left with a portfolio of the projects they created, each including a video game that they made along with a website. I've also worked as the lead data analyst in the writing department of my univeresity. I had a team of two other peers that I worked with to gather information about different events held by our department, and then we would analize the data using SWOT techniques and Microsoft Excel, and finally, we would present this information during meetings to make suggestions on how to improve engagement at future events and plan future events. Now that I've left college, I've had contract work with my local school district (Memphis City Schools) where I created an E-Commerce website for one of their summer programs and also created a curriculum to teach students iMovie and Garageband. I am now also working as a Trainee Rust Developer in Bayreuth, Bavaria, Germany. I'm looking for work in the Computer Science or Data Analysis field in Germany as I have a passion for the German culture and want to continue furthering my skills in a challenging and progressive work environment.
