Background

About Eray Uluhan

In over 15+ years of professional experience, I had the opportunity to work as an application developer, researcher and consultant- on a variety of projects (application development, process modeling, rule analysis.)- for a variety of customers (SMEs, governametnal institutions, corporations.)- using different tools and applications (BPMS, BRMS, ESB, Application Servers.)- of different vendors (BEA, Oracle, IBM, Software AG.).My main area of interest is business/it alignment, more specifically, managing business process, business rules and soa governance. In my opinion, agile enterprise is not an option without bringing business and it to a common ground. Every IT project has to aim easing some burden either from internal customers (business, including finance) or external customers.I am also enrolled in an executive PhD program and conducting research on a novel way of modeling executable business processes. I like to view business problems from different perspectives, from stakeholders' to better analyze the requirements and academic and business perspectives to better analyze the stability and robustness of solutions.Specialties: Business Process Management Systems, Business Rule Engines, Business/IT Alignment
