About Eric Abboud

With more than 25 years in the business, Eric is an award-winning unscripted Showrunner and Executive Producer and one of North America’s top producers of hit culinary programming. He is currently the EP and Showrunner on Top Chef Canada, the #1 show on Food Network Canada, now entering its 12th season, and an executive on Fox’s Crime Scene Kitchen and NBC’s Yes, Chef! Eric has been instrumental in developing and launching Cook at All Costs, a new culinary format for Netflix, as well as two original formats for Corus Studios, Wall of Chefs and Wall of Bakers, on which he served as executive producer and writer. In addition to his role as Showrunner, Eric serves as a Vice President at Insight Productions, where he both develops original concepts and been at the forefront of building new business partnerships with major U.S. prodcos. Most recently, Eric has forged relationships with Fly on the Wall Productions (Fox’s Crime Scene Kitchen); Magical Elves (Bravo’s Top Chef S2, NBC’s Yes, Chef!); and A. Smith and Co. Productions (Max and Magnolia’s Human VS Hamster).
