About Eric Aboaf

I’m the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at S&P Global, where I lead the company’s global finance function—including strategy, M&A, treasury, tax, accounting, and investor relations. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, I focus on driving growth, enhancing productivity, and ensuring strong financial performance across the enterprise. Previously, I served as Vice Chairman and CFO at State Street Corporation, overseeing financial strategy and operations as well as its markets and financing business. Prior to that, I was CFO at Citizens Financial Group and spent over a decade at Citigroup in senior finance roles, including Treasurer. Earlier in my career, I was a partner at Bain & Company, co-leading its U.S. financial services consulting practice. I graduated summa cum laude from The Wharton School and the Engineering School at the University of Pennsylvania and earned a master’s degree from MIT. I also serve as Board Chair of the New York City Urban Debate League, supporting youth empowerment through competitive debate.
