About Eric Ahassa

I graduated with a Specialized Master in Corporate Communication Management, and I have an Advanced University degree in English and French languages. I am passionate about International Relations, External Communication, Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE). I have over nine years of experience as Reporting Officer and Communications Specialist (P3/Level) in remote places and I have already provided communication support to the United States Government Federal Mission and the World Health Organization Health Emergencies (WHE) operations on many occasions in the Western and Central Africa. I developed a strong and proven organizational, analytical and reporting skills and I have the ability to maintain a high standard of personal conduct in collaborating with Stakeholders, Government bodies and ground partners. Furthermore, I have a good knowledge of organizational behaviour, risk management and digital marketing strategies and tools. I know how to adapt and communicate effectively with a wide range of diverse audiences in critical settings. I have a proven experience in the elaboration of Risk Communication and Community Engagement strategies, coordination of media relations at national, international, and corporate levels. I am used to impact articles writing, co-editing of success stories and Talking Points. I have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, technical translation from English to French and photo-taking to highlight the organization’s achievements and increase donors’ visibility.
