An experienced and highly accomplished result-driven e-commerce and procurement professional with over 13 years’ progressive experience in capital markets, eCommerce, mordern and pharmaceutical retail. Eric has a solid leadership background spiced with excellent communication and analytical abilities. He has successfully demonstrated the ability to design, implement and manage commercial procurement & supply chain processes to grow revenue, save cost, improve bottom-line and drive growth. He is a data geek and his passion for numbers has made him one of the best commercial managers in the retail industry in Nigeria today! He has served in several roles across several business spaces from NYSE listed and Nigeria’s largest online retailer, Jumia, where he worked as a Senior Buyer managing several supplier & brand relationships to Nigeria’s first click and mortar retail chain, Konga, where as a Category Manager he led the launch of several commercial categories including fashion, babies, kids and toys. Before joining HealthPlus, he was Manager, Commercial Planning & Merchandise Strategy at Konga, responsible for inventory optimization, omni-channel products strategy, merchandise selection, assortment planning, and distribution. He led the roll-out of branch specific planograms, and deployment of merchandise distribution and redistribution models for Konga brick and mortar stores driving the company’s overall omni-channel strategy across online and offline channels. A people manager who is privileged to have led several key teams and committees including Investment Management Committee, Info Tech for Investment Banking Services, and Ecommerce Rollout teams In the course of his career, he has acquired strong partner negotiation skills, C-level and board engagement capabilities. His strong analytical and strategic management capabilities fused into an impeccable desire to deliver results puts him the top 5% of Commercial Heads in the country. His current job role has exposed him to opportunities inherent in Nigeria’s pharmaceutical, eCommerce and modern retail spaces.
