About Eric Anthony Johnson

I am the CEO of Aeon, a nonprofit multifamily real estate development organization that develops, manages, and preserves quality affordable housing in the Twin Cities region. With over 20 years of experience in urban redevelopment, real estate, public policy, housing, and community and economic development, I have led transformative initiatives in the public, non-profit and private sectors and have worked to transform lives and neighborhoods across the country. I hold a PhD in Urban Affairs and Policy, a Masters in Business Administration and I was a LISC Rubinger Community Fellow, a prestigious program that invests in local changemakers who promote economic and racial justice. My career began as a Presidential Management Fellow. I combine a strong academic, real estate, and policy background with disruptive thinking, creativity, and leadership skills to build high-performing teams, partnerships, and strategies that deliver impactful and sustainable results. I am passionate about advancing racial and social justice, and fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration at Aeon and in the housing, economic and urban development sector.
