About Eric Auger

I possess 19 years of experience in design and project management related to turbine-generator refurbishment, and new unit installation. As a mechanical design engineer, I was involved and I participated actively in all phases of projects, from the design, manufacturing and installation of the turbine and generator units, to the development of technical specifications, site supervision and follow-up for major projects. As a consulting engineer I held different position such as project engineer, technical manager and project manager. I performed several feasibility studies and rehabilitation projects of turbine and generator. I did hydraulic and mechanical sizing of units and hydro development for both the mini hydro of few megawatts to large hydro of hundreds of megawatts, I prepared drawings and specifications and I did the manufacturing and installation follow up. As project director I did the management, administration and control of short-term project of few thousand dollars to long term project of several years and hundreds of thousands of dollars. I'm now the founder and the president of GTA HYDRO inc. A firm specialized in hydraulic turbine and generator engineering and services.
