Worked straight out of high school. From packer to machine operator I worked for.3 years at peninsula packaging in Exeter CA. I learned all about theromoforming and how to lead a group of people to help achieve my goals. My responsibilitys included keep sanitizing the work. Area and machine keeping area clear of trip hazards so quality control checks every 30 Min based on what material I was working with that day and monitoring the packers on my Lyle machine. I had to work hands on in the machine giving me a little mechanical experience. I worked with pneumatic, hydrolic, and electrical energy. Learned all about lockout tag out, m.s.d.s, know known as m.d.s. and how to drive a forklift. This quickly let me rise though the ranks as i was one of the best operators they had. I was almost to lead position,but this being my first job and it being nights I had a couple unexuced absences and this led me to eventually be fired after 2 years and 5 mounts being hired there. I went on to work as a temp at select staffing where I worked till I got hired on at vwr international. There I worked with order pickers and warehouse materials. Working with mainly chemicals I also was apart of the spill team there, I was trained in hazcom and how to wear Scba. We were held to high expectations there we had to be error free and Martian a 100% production output we were in the system and worked with handheld devices to scan and move. Stuff in the company system. I achieved alot of. Awards and always meet my goals there.I quit after 6 months being hired there as they were a start up company and we're only paying 10 an hour. My goal is to take the police academy and be a city cop. I have to save up money as I need to pay for school first since I get no financial aid.
