I enjoy the thrill of connecting great workers with roles where they can truly shine. As a recruiter specializing in the nuclear and Department of Energy (DOE) sectors, I bring over two decades of experience from the Navy's Nuclear Power program. This journey has shaped my understanding of what makes a successful placement: exceptional customer service, strategic sourcing, and deep industry knowledge. Currently, I serve as the Senior Technical Recruiter at COMPA Industries. In this role, I recruit for critical positions at Los Alamos National Laboratory and other DOE locations. My focus on applicant tracking systems and sourcing strategies ensures efficient and high-quality placements. Previously, as the Nuclear Field Program Manager for the Navy's Southwest District, I achieved one of my proudest milestones—recruiting over 400 highly qualified individuals for the Navy Nuclear Power Program. Every connection I made during this time reinforced the importance of finding the right fit, not just for organizations but for individuals striving to make an impact. My earlier experience as an Electronics Technician and Plant Supervisor aboard nuclear-powered aircraft carriers taught me invaluable lessons about teamwork, operational planning, and safety. Leading a team of 15 through complex operational challenges showed me how to navigate high-pressure environments effectively. These skills, combined with my expertise in quality systems and continuous improvement, directly apply to my current role. Education has always been a priority for me. I recently earned a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership with Distinction. This achievement has further fueled my passion for leadership in the technological field, particularly within the nuclear energy sector. I believe strong leaders inspire their teams to succeed and drive innovation. Outside of work, I remain dedicated to community service and supporting veterans transitioning into civilian careers.
