About Eric Balut

Recently, my focus has been on self-learning with the goal of holistically preparing myself for the future. My time is commonly spent on client projects, learning more UX best practices, tracking investments, physical fitness, acquiring new skills, and reading. Clients, colleagues, and instructors will verify my strong work ethic and high quality work. I’m easy going, have excellent observation and listening skills, and work well in both leadership and functional team roles. I ask thought-provoking, insightful questions to gather requirements and produce delightful results. I apply my perceptiveness and analytic skills to identify trends, define strategies, and predict outcomes. One of my greatest strengths is the diversity of my skills and speed of skill acquisition. In 3.5 years in Miami University's Interactive Media program, I acquired a foundation of practical skills in animation (2D & 3D), 3D modeling, virtual reality, application and web design, and audio/video production. I quickly mastered tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Autodesk’s Maya, Google Adwords and Analytics, Apache Cordova, Xcode, Audacity, and 360° video technologies. I have experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Swift.
