About Eric Bang

Hello! My name is Eric Bang and I am a recent graduate from Toronto Metropolitan University, receiving a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Economics and Management Science and a minor in Finance. I am a person of high aspirations and someone who consistently strives to become a better, more impactful person each and every day. Some of my main priorities in life include empathy, innovation and growth by learning from those around you. I am a firm believer in treating others the way you want to be treated and the laws of karma, including selflessness, giving to others and practicing what you preach. Within my professional and academic life, I have worked as a Lead Financial Analyst at Kyndryl Canada, overseeing both the Cloud Financial Portfolio, and working as a Lead FA. I was able to build my passion for FP & A in this position, with a specific enjoyment found in forecasting and financial reporting. My proficiency in Excel, SAP & SQL were solidified in this position furthermore. At TMU, I consistently strive to be a cultivated student in both of my academics and my student leadership position. Positions such as Data Analyst & Special Projects Lead on TRSS have been a wonderful experience in regard to my collaboration, critical-thinking and being an adept solutionist. Outside of school, I am an avid golfer, cat-lover, cyclist and baseball fanatic (Go Jays Go). If I were to plan my "perfect day", it'd be to play a morning round of golf, hang out with my cats in my backyard while taking some pictures along the way.
