An industrious multi-talented Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 5-star customer service skills that always look for improvement and optimization of processes. In addition to my regular NMT responsibilities, I participated in the establishment of a work routine in a PET/CT department running on evening shifts during a temporary assignment given by my boss in 2013. This adventure became a success! Back then, our PET/CT department was one of the most efficient ones in the province, despite using a 10-year-old Siemens-Biograph, scanning 23 patients/day. In order to comply with the requirements of Accreditation Canada and the provincial association of medical imaging technologists (OTIMROEPMQ), I was sent to CHUL hospital in 2014 to go through the newly established quality control procedures in the Nuclear Medicine department of the hospital. This task required me a lot of debugging skills, a clear view of the objectives being set, high care for clear explanations of quality control procedures, mentoring skills while showing the procedures to my colleagues, and diplomacy while dealing with the technical coordinator regarding updates to the quality control program. In 2020, I established a nuclear medicine imaging consulting services, including staffing services at a client hospital in Quebec province, Canada, named Services Diagnostix Inc. I had to provide support to the nuclear medicine department during the Covid-19 crisis all the while looking for areas of improvement to the workflows and providing advice on the technical aspect. I also participated in the switch from an old PET/CT dismantling to a mobile PET/CT system to a brand new GE MI 2nd Generation Discovery PET/CT. In addition to this, I had to work at reducing the waiting lists during the switch by using novel FDG-F18 management and optimization techniques that few people know. As of 2021-2023, I am working on the PET/CT protocols of the hospital I work for in the UAE. This results in higher image quality and lower radiation exposure to patients. I bring to my patients my cumulated experience from 5 different PET/CT machines and from different Nuclear Medicine departments. I follow with great interest subjects related to Ga-68 radiopharmaceuticals and theranostic, the future of Nuclear Medicine. I have interests in Power BI, advanced Excel, team motivation, marketing, customer service, and psychology. I am also curious about python programming, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and NLP. I speak Arabic, English, French, and some Japanese. I'm looking for new challenges!
