Eric has worked in the field of process engineering for over 20 years with the study, design, and optimization of water treatment processes as his professional focus. He has experience in numerous water and wastewater treatment applications including clarifier systems, dissolved air flotation, filtration, lagoons, rotating biological contactors, process water demineralization, potable water applications, and various industrial treatment methods for water and wastewater. He has application experience in a variety of sectors including: municipal, pulp and paper, power generation, mining, oil and gas, engineered wood products, automotive, and light manufacturing. Projects that Eric has been involved with include the design, construction, and commissioning of a manganese removal filter system for a municipal drinking water plant. He has also been involved with the design of wastewater pumping stations and equipment selection for various screening needs. He has been involved with the selection of municipal drinking water booster stations, reservoirs, valve chambers, and pressure zone analysis. Other technologies that Eric has worked with include membrane systems for ultra-pure process water as well as treatment design for a mine dewatering operation. He has also been involved with a water reuse and treatment scenario for a wood products production facility, treatment of landfill leachate, and the construction of numerous onsite sewage treatment systems.
