About Eric Bergeron

Mr. Éric Bergeron, Chemical Engineer, works as the leader of the water treatment group of the Golder/WSP Montréal Office. Mr. Bergeron has completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Chemical Engineering at Sherbrooke University as process engineer. His thesis topic was the liquid waste plasma reforming. Before working for Golder, Mr. Bergeron has been in charge of the wastewater and air emission groups at Sodexen Inc. and more recently, Technical Director of Elite Technologies Inc- Environmental division, a company specializing in instrumentation. Mr. Bergeron has over 25 years of professional experience in studies related to water treatment and soil remediation. As senior design process engineer, he has worked on several projects involving physical, biological and chemical process in-situ or ex-situ in Canada, USA, Australia and Europe. M. Bergeron was in charge of the development of the GoldSet wastewater module with Concordia University. Mr. Bergeron was the design leader in the Nitchequon project, a chemical oxidation project performed in a remote site, a project that have won the Award of Excellence in the field of contaminated sites, at the 2008 Federal Contaminated Sites National Workshop. Mr. Bergeron was also the design leader for the Dow-Petromont remediation (2015) and St-Isidore former landfill water treatment (2021) projects that have been named a winner by the Association of Engineers of Québec. Finally, Mr. Bergeron was the design leader for the bioremediation of a former tank farm and GoldSet evaluation, a project awarded for a Brownie Award in the category of Sustainable Remediation.
