About Eric Berlin

Currently semi-retired and living in Duluth, MN. I've been a part time student at University of Minnesota – Duluth, pursuing an accounting degree over the last couple of years. It was fun, informative and interesting to learn some new material. I have been working part time at a law firm (performing admin and accounting support) in town since January 2025. Retirement is great but sometimes I missed working with a team and all it involves. Most recently I've missed the great freedom of full time retirement, so am moving back in that direction. My wife and I travel a lot to see our kids and grandkids (soon to be #7) and enjoy RV-ing. I’m quite passionate about my running, and also enjoy skiing, golf, and nature’s beauty. At SLB, from 1981 to 2013, I had extensive experience with project management, account management, technical sales, operations management, wireline operations and formation evaluation (open hole & cased hole), reservoir monitoring, cement evaluation, production logging, borehole seismic and micro-seismic monitoring, well construction, well completions, petroleum engineering, data delivery, and project management of carbon capture and storage related projects. After retiring from Schlumberger in 2013, I picked up a fair share of contract work up until 2022. We moved to Duluth in 2020.
