Extensive & in-depth experience in various industry sectors, including oil & gas, petrochemicals, commodity & specialty chemicals, power generation and pulp & paper. Roles held in these industries have allowed me to develop organizational skillsets that span Plant Operations, Business Development, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and Operations and Maintenance (O&M).In addition to management of production operations and delivery of industrial services, I've had opportunities to develop, practice and perfect the critical skills necessary to establish, maintain and optimize key client relationships. My experience in this strategically important arena extends from regionally focused clients to global accounts, including work with energy & manufacturing firms in the FSU / CIS (Russia, Kazakhstan & Azerbaijan), the Middle East (Egypt & Saudi Arabia), Eastern Europe (Poland) and Canada.Through work in both manufacturing and the engineering & construction sectors, I've developed and practiced people, technical and commercial skills that have enabled me to deliver - and often exceed - established operational and profit & loss (P&L) targets. Throughout many assignments, this has been accomplished by a focus on optimization of manufacturing processes, on portfolio management techniques applied to sustaining (brownfield) capital programs, on technically-centered asset management practices, and on the safe, efficient and carefully planned execution of campaigns of facility maintenance & turnarounds (TARs).In addition to operational leadership, I've delivered consistent results in Business Development (sales), establishing a track record of successful business growth. Results achieved have materially contributed to the strategic objectives of globally recognized firms, including Worley & KBR (Houston, TX), PSN (Aberdeen, Scotland), International Paper (as acquirer of Inland Container) and MeadWestvaco (formerly Mead Paper & now WestRock).
