I am a real world results driven technology professional with over 25 years of full software development life cycle experience and leadership with the ability to manage complex projects, incorporate new technology and provide business level guidance on product time lines, features and market differentiation. My solutions and approach focus on the business needs; truly without business we (IT) have no purpose. We need to continue to focus on the truth that IT should make the business more productive and profitable, once IT loses focus on this truth they become a burden not a solution. Using the latest technology is not always the answer, this is critical in smaller shops where IT budgets are non-existent. We as IT should be able to provide state-of-the-art solutions using the technology available. Once we prove our worth to the business they will provide us with the funding and means necessary for us to delve into new technologies. Using Microsoft’s set of tools from operating systems, servers and databases I am able to produce business class solutions that are on time and under budget. It is up to IT (us) to use our current technology and tools to solve our businesses problems.
