About Eric Blinderman

My days are spent helping organizations build reputation, relevance and revenue. In doing so, I am continually surrounded by words. And ideas. And people. I put them all in the right order in the right place, to get people to do stuff. To understand, learn, agree, click, take action, buy. And, yes, I am often surrounded by airplanes. Current: I am the founder and chief narrator of Narrative, a Maryland-based consultancy that works with organizations of all sizes and business sectors to create powerful and business-building narratives to drive awareness and preference. Career: Throughout my career, I have worked with world-class organizations, developing creative campaigns that have moved the needle for Fortune 100 companies, all by shaping and delivering the right words in compelling ways. My career has taken me to communications and marketing agencies in New York City and Connecticut, the world’s largest aviation organization, non-profit and educational entities, and working for myself (the toughest client, ever). As a proud “card-carrying generalist,” I’ve gone deep into sectors, counseling and supporting clients in virtually all industries (businesses and associations): aviation and travel, food and beverage, packaged goods, financial services, consumer healthcare, personal care, consumer technology, sports-related products, and entertainment. I’ve also been part of the dramatic change in communications approaches, as we’ve shifted our audience and communications focus to communities of shared interest, rather than the dated broad-brush approach.
