About Eric Bodner

As the primary fixed-income strategist for The Bodner Sax Group, Eric draws on his extensive knowledge of municipal bond management to determine the role of bonds in a client's portfolio. In 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 Barron's magazine recognized Eric as one of the Top Advisors in the U.S. and among the top 100 advisors in New York. Eric was also named to the FT 400 list for 2014. Eric joined Merrill Lynch in 2009 with 20 years of financial experience as an institutional municipal bond trader and as a wealth management advisor at another financial services firm. A graduate of Rider University, Eric earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He is a trustee of The Healthcare Foundation of New Jersey. An inveterate student of the markets, he reads Bond Buyer on weekends at the beach and also enjoys golf, boating and fitness. Eric and his wife, Barbara, have three children and live in West Orange, New Jersey. Eric also spends time in East Hampton NY.
