About Eric Brunkow

Eric started with Bastian at the dawn of the digital age in 1996. Upon graduating from Purdue University with a Bachelors in Technical Graphics he quickly became a "jack of all and master of none" blending different forms of media together into illustrations and presentations. Eric draws on the skills of the computer programmer and the visual artist to integrate graphics, text, and digital audio and video with interactivity. In '96 it was only Eric but today he truly enjoys developing and creating as a part of a team- and the challenge of understanding the differing needs and backgrounds of colleagues and clients. Eric is never bored as the nature of the job is about variety. Final delivery of a project or artwork can be on an interactive CD or DVD, on the Internet/Intranet, part of a commercial or story via video, a presentation for a few people or for many, for commercial or educational use or for entertainment. Because the use of multimedia in all its forms is always new and changing, nothing is set in stone. Thus the horizon will always be in the distance. Eric enjoys that in multimedia there is always the then to be adaptable to cope with constant change, the need to learn new things quickly, the need to always stay client focused, and the need to generate the creative connections between the idea and final presentation. Eric enjoys those that he works with and the thought that there will always be new personalities to meet, work with and learn from. As the marketing team grows, Eric has been able to specialize in a couple areas in the multimedia arena. Most notably Eric is known for working closely with sales and engineering to develop his illustrations and animations of Bastian's integrated material handling systems. When not in the land of 3d Eric is at the helm sailing on audio waves matching them up to some custom material handling video to be delivered via CD, DVD or streaming across the web.
