About Eric Brunton

I am Financial Analyst for the Financial Management Advisory Services Directorate of the Canada Revenue agency. I am working towards my CPA and CFA designation. I am looking forward to a career in accounting. I possess accounting, finance, technical and quantitative skills. In addition, I have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as interpersonal skills that have been developed through volunteer work, and working frontline in the food service industry. I have completed first, second and third and fourth year, university level business law, finance, accounting, economics, international business, and information systems courses. I am experienced with customer service and teamwork skills achieved through years as a frontline food service worker, while using sound judgement and close attention to detail, which have been key in improving my communication skills. In addition, I am also very adept at making good decisions, thinking independently, and improving ones-self when given constructive criticism. Moreover my technical skills include, but are not limited to, in depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access with queries and SQL”s, Power Point, Excel with Functions, Pivot-tables, and Pivot-charts, developed through classes at Carleton university. As an accounting student I have had to analyze many case involving the portfolios of different companies and recommending actions to be taken. I am also self-determined to work effectively on workloads, as well as being polite and cooperative when addressing colleagues on professional matters with a high degree of calmness and insight and in a teamwork environment
