About Eric Butler

I have a Master of Organization Leadership in Health Administration from Wayland Baptist University, obtained in May 2022, and a Bachelor of Health Care Management from the same university, acquired in October 2011. I have received military training and professional development in healthcare management, patient administration, medical readiness, and leadership. I have experience working as a Health Care Administrator for the DHA (ITSC)- Clinical Oversight and Integration. I supported project management and researched policy, regulations, procedures, and guidelines for clinical and patient safety/clinical quality matters impacting the Military Health System. I also worked as an Administrative Assistant/Medical Practice Manager for the State of Texas Health and Human Services/San Antonio State Supported Living Center, where I coordinated inter-departmental workflow within the facility, performed all medical administrative duties, and ensured attestation, credentialing, and licensure verification requirements by all members of the professionally licensed staff. Additionally, I have worked as a Health Care Manager for the United States Marshal Service, where I supervised inmate's medical concerns for the Western District of Texas, San Antonio office, and planned, implemented, and evaluated the policies, procedures, and systems to monitor healthcare services and clinic/department utilization.
