I’m a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and multi-certified API 510, 570, and 653 inspector with over a decade of experience ensuring the safety, reliability, and mechanical integrity of critical assets in both the oil & gas and DOE/nuclear sectors. My career has focused on helping organizations operate safely and efficiently by delivering thorough inspections, clear documentation, and actionable insights that drive smarter maintenance and engineering decisions. Today, I serve at Los Alamos National Laboratory as part of Maintenance and Site Services – Maintenance Programs, where I perform inspections of pressure vessels, atmospheric storage tanks, and relief systems in accordance with ASME, NBIC, API, STI SP001, and DOE standards. I also help onboard undocumented assets into PCMS, support inspection planning and maintenance strategies, and collaborate across engineering and operations teams to maintain compliance and equipment reliability in a high-stakes research environment. My hands-on experience includes NDE, inspection program development, and asset integrity management, backed by strong technical proficiency in tools like PCMS, UltraPIPE, SAP, AutoCAD, and Meridium APM. I’m passionate about building and improving mechanical integrity programs that not only meet regulatory requirements but also extend asset lifecycles and reduce operational risk.
