As a Vendor Relations Specialist at Maymont Homes, a subsidiary of Brookfield Asset Management, I leverage my customer service, Excel, and CRM skills to manage and maintain relationships with over 50 vendors across the country. I negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and ensure timely and quality service delivery for our properties and tenants. I also communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, using my public speaking and presentation skills to report on vendor performance and feedback. Prior to joining Maymont Homes in March 2022, I was a Buyer at Sportsman Boats, where I sourced and purchased materials and supplies for the production of high-quality boats. I coordinated with suppliers, engineers, and warehouse managers to optimize inventory and logistics, and achieved cost savings and quality improvements. Before that, I was the Chief Operating Officer at Know Allergies, a food production company that catered to people with dietary restrictions. I led the operations, finance, marketing, and human resources functions, and helped raise capital, manage strong P & Ls, and recruit executive and senior level positions. I also developed innovative branding, website, and sales strategies, and used Adobe Illustrator and other tools to create engaging designs and content.
