About Eric Castillo

After leaving the workforce in 2001, my main focus was being the primary care giver of my two children. I've been blessed to have the unique opportunity to be a "Stay at Home Dad", requiring a flexible work environment during my children's formative years. It allowed me to be an active community volunteer in numerous capacities from PTG member, coaching youth sports, shuttling my kids to club volleyball practices and various leadership positions at St. Rose of Lima Church and San Diego Cursillo ministry. Now that my children are both college graduates from The University of San Diego and The University of Notre Dame, I'm preparing for the "Empty Nester" years. With over 15 years of residential mortgage loan officer, product management, technical training specialist and customer service experience in the real estate industry, I learned the key elements for creating and successfully delivering solutions for my customer's needs and requirements. In the next phase of my career, I want to keep learning and continuing my pursuit to be the best that I can be. For the past four years, I worked in the Optical Medical industry, as an optometrist technician, taking advantage of my relationship building, technical and training skills. By utilizing my combination of training experience, ability to build relationships, technical skills, aptitude for team building and problem solving, I have taken an amazing professional growth opportunity as a Systems Trainer for Total Vision, LLC. in the Optical Medical industry.
