About Eric Cooter

My passion for aviation has been a constant companion throughout my life. As a pilot with 43 years of experience, I embarked on my aviation journey at the age of 16 with my inaugural solo flight. For over two decades as a flight instructor, I honed my teaching skills, accumulating 23 years of experience, sharing my knowledge and nurturing the next generation of aviators. I now fly professionally as a Pilot on the Embraer Phenom 300. I am a seasoned entrepreneur, skilled administrator, adept re-development specialist, experienced team builder, versatile financial generalist, and proficient operations manager. With a proven track record, I've successfully led teams across diverse sectors including business, non-profits, and aviation. My journey has been enriched by a unique blend of experiences. While I am now retired from active ministry as an Episcopal priest, I have served at the diocesan level ministry as a key advisor and staff leader, providing support to the ministry of two Bishops from two dioceses. For 17 dedicated years, I served the church and finished my career as Canon to the Ordinary for the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma, contributing significantly to the church's administration, leadership development, and impact. Complementing my aviation endeavors, I proudly serve as a Military Chaplain in the USAF Auxiliary (Civil Air Patrol), where my leadership has extended to the Wing (state), Region (multi-state), and National levels. This ministry has allowed me to further contribute to the well-being of our community while leveraging my supervisory expertise. I am deeply gratified by the cumulative impact of my diverse roles, each contributing to my growth as a leader and my ability to positively influence both individuals and organizations. My journey is a testament to my unwavering commitment to excellence and my continual pursuit of growth and service.
