Hera: 2022 and beyond Recently joined Hera Environmental January 2022 after a full career at Georgia EPD Air Branch. Hera is currently a small firm, but extremely experienced, with 80 years combined experience in air quality and other environmental aspects between the three principals. Georgia EPD: 1992-2021 Thirty years service at Georgia EPD, including thirteen years managing Georgia's Air Permit Program. Industry sectors included electric and gas utilities, paper and forest product sectors, automotive and surface coating, quarries and kaolin, carpet, and many more. I tried to earn my reputation as responsive, fair, knowledgeable, and creative in my leadership roles at EPD. In addition to air permit management, I also served as Co-Chair for AAPCA's NSR/Permitting Committee, on Ga EPD's Small Business Environmental Assistance Compliance Advisory Panel, Ga EPD's unofficial liaison for Georgia Economic Development (GDEcD).
