About Eric D. Weedon

Eric D. Weedon is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in academia, finance, nonprofit management, and investment/portfolio management. With over 30 years of business experience, including 20 years in the financial services industry, Eric brings knowledge and expertise to his endeavors. Eric serves as an adjunct professor, teaching Managerial Finance for the EMBA Program at Ottawa University, where he equips students with critical financial management skills. In addition, he works for an accounting firm specializing in nonprofit accounting, managing a client base with over $45 million in revenue and $50 million in net assets. His deep commitment to nonprofits extends to helping them balance financial sustainability with their mission-driven goals. Previously, as an Assistant Professor at Arizona Christian University, Eric was dedicated to teaching biblical principles of money and finance. His passion for aligning financial practices with faith has been a cornerstone of his career, including his work in developing the FaithVest Financial Education Center in partnership with the Ron Blue Institute. Eric holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an MBA in Finance. He is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) at Liberty University, further expanding his expertise in financial leadership. Over his career, he has held various leadership roles, including managing customer service and sales teams and working in compliance. As a Registered Principal in the financial services industry, Eric held six FINRA licenses and certifications, including Life & Health, Certified Retirement Plan Counselor (CRPC), and Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS), underscoring his commitment to professional excellence and delivering sound financial guidance. Beyond his professional pursuits, Eric is passionate about mentoring small businesses and entrepreneurs, providing guidance on financial literacy and strategic business growth. He and his wife have raised five children, and in 2013, their family embarked on a mission journey, serving as missionaries in 17 countries. Leveraging his skills as a sound engineer, Eric collaborated with ministries, recording artists, and worship leaders, ensuring impactful experiences for all involved. Eric currently resides in Surprise, Arizona, where he continues to make a difference through his multifaceted career and dedication to faith, family, and the principles of financial stewardship.
